Fortenberry Labs LLC operates this website. This page explains what the site collects and what it does with it.

What this site collects

This is an information site. It has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter. We do not ask you for your name, your email address, or anything about your tax situation.

Squarespace, which hosts this site, records standard web traffic information on our behalf: the pages visited, the approximate location a visit came from, the type of device and browser used, and the site that referred it. We see this in aggregate, as visitor counts and page views. It is not used to identify you.

Cookies

The site sets the cookies Squarespace needs to serve pages and to count visits. You can refuse non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent information about visitors. We do not run advertising on this site and we do not allow advertising networks to track you here. We do not combine what this site records with information from any other source.

Our products

The software Fortenberry Labs builds is separate from this website and carries its own privacy policy, which you will see before you use it. Nothing you do on this site creates a customer relationship or a professional engagement, and nothing on this site is tax, legal or accounting advice.

Your choices

If you are somewhere that gives you rights over information held about you, including the right to ask what is held and to ask for it to be deleted, write to us at the address below and we will answer within the time your law allows. Because this site does not collect information that identifies you, in most cases there will be nothing to return.
